Belgian media don't know it exists anymore ... when the last time you saw something about it in Humo or De Morgen ? ... when's the last time national radio or tv spent some minutes on it ? (apart from De Hop) ... where we had "Funkytown" and "Domino" years ago diggin' deep into the genre ... same with our main concert halls, parties and festivals ... only when they can't avoid it like with Amy Winehouse or when it's in a package deal you can fight it or you can ask yourself if it's worth bothering ... Belgium is too small to waste your energy on ... concentrate on the goods things around us ... the Uk, the Dutch even Germans have a decent scene ... join that, focus on that ... the true Belgian Soul musketeers will get their knowledge anyway (through the net) and will make the trip if necessary ...
