Metro versus Pre-Metro versus Tram
Emich keeps on keeping on! This time around he explains us the difference between the metro and the so-called pre-metro.
Call me a freak but I’m utterly thankfull for that because this maybe will shut some big mouths up in “a town” where trams doing their thing in the underground are referrred to as “the metro”, while obviously it’s merely a tram.

Sorry boys, sorry girls, in Belgium we have premetro’s in Antwerp, Charleroi and Brussels I haven’t found anything about any other metro than the Brussels one.
And well waddayaknow, here’s Manneken Pics, lovely blog of an English expat living in the city, talking metro’s from time to time too. Volare, baby, Volare!

Brussels is metro too

Dat staat er toch: “I haven’t found anything about any other metro than the Brussels one.”
Meaning there is one, and it appears to be the only one in Belgium. Zo leerde Google me toch
