Video: Moiano Live at Jazzbreak, Tavernier, Brussels Part 2 - Stef solo

My favorite backing vocalists: Stef Caers & Nina Babet, Live at Jazzbreak last month. Earlier footage was posted right here. Really though, watch them go! Doing it real big with Moiano.

Spike Lee Newsflash

The last two months two Spike Lee news flashes came in over here at the HeadQuarters.
After some more or less conventional movies it seems like Spike is getting back to his own style, black consciousness etcetera etcetera, check imdb.com for more insight.

Word is Spike is working on or planning to work on two new movies, two joints about two remarkable chapters in Black America’s history:

The L.A. Riots
James Brown

Looking forward to both, just wanted you to know.

Definition of On-Point…

Just the other day I was wondering. Lloyd, I said to myself, I said: “lloyd, what’s it all about anyway, the on-pointness, being on-point and all?”

And I came up with this definition of letting loose the old bandwagons and getting down with the alternative, checking out the leftfield, being on the lookout for the next cat doing this, that and a third. That being said, I think the regular on-point reader/visitor knows about names such as:

- vic&lloyd (of course)
- Bai Kamara Jr.
- Moiano
- Jazzbreak & Wonderful
- Michel Gondry
- Piet Parra (more)
- Sozy.One aka Pee Gonzalez (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
- Incrone
- Original Uman
- BlancBec
- Bonom&Lork
- Steve Spacek (video, review1, review2)
- Gil Scott-Heron (video1 + video2)

But maybe I should just ask you: What is it all about? Put in your fifty cents if you wish, it will be highly appreciated, always!
