J Dilla’s Ruff Draft EP to be reissued
Now I’m a recordnerd. Not the fundamentalist one, but still, a lot of my proud comes from these shelves packed with records who got my back, when typing this blog entry, my collection is just right behind me. Matter of fact, they’ve always been there, and I love them for that.
One of the records in there is Jaydee’s “The Ruff Draft EP”. It’s actually a highly underestimated piece of visionary music, it was when it was released in a limited quantity back in the days, and it still is. I remember being shitted upon, just for loving it. Some people feel very ashamed for that now, and honestly, only rightfully so.
Anyway. This is a Classic Jaydee Production. Many of the so-called fans might not know yet, but they will as it’s getting its re-issue!
So here it is, straight from the Stones Throw Records News:

Been looking for the instrumental of “The $” for ages, highly addictive, i wasn’t familiar with the Ruff Draft EP when it was in
stores (if it ever was in the places where i go) I’ll buy the re-issue
if I can get my hands on it..
