Banksy versus Disney equals Guantànamo
Seriously though, just when you think the man has reached the top and you expect him to turn around just to see there’s only one way and it’s going down, he kills it once again. I’m talking Banksy, street-artist extraordinaire who now officialy earns godlike status. In case you missed out, here’s an old blog about the man.
And here’s his latest action:
Families visiting Disneyland on their holiday this week saw a life-size Guantanamo bay inmate standing inside the Rocky Mountain Railroad ride at Disneyland in Anaheim California.
The sculpture, consisting of an inflatable doll dressed in an orange jumpsuit with its hands and feet manacled remained in place for one and a half hours before Disneyland’s security staff shut down the ride and removed it amid fears over public safety. (woostercollective.com)

Blek Le Rat heb ik inderdaad over het hoofd gezien, wel bekend met zijn werk nochtans.
Maar om hem even brilliant te noemen? Mneen, Banksy overstijgt het simpele stencil gegeven ondertussen toch wel, en eigenlijk ook al een tijdje

Zeker, en fans krijgen de vrije tribune, dus ik ben geheel en al akkoord met u. (Dan probeert een mens eens up-to-date te zijn zonder in encyclopedische kennis te vervallen, I kid, fly dutchmen are more than welcome
