Borat- Or where he got his inspiration from?

This could well be Borat’s inspiration.
It’s the story of a Turkish bloke travelling around making friends.

Look he even had frontpage coverage in his homeland! (lefthand side, read: Staarid internetist.)
You don’t believe me? He was right around the corner, Grand Place Brussels. Wowaweewa!
